Anmol is a highly talented and accomplished cricketer. His ability with both bat and gloves are exceptional. With the bat, he is a confident top/middle order batsman that has the skills necessary to anchor an innings as well as take the attack to the bowlers when required. These skills have helped him to produce a number of match winning performances for Punjab since the inception of his professional career. His confidence against any type of bowling and his ability to manipulate the bowlers has seen him pile on the runs. With the gloves he is an exceptionally sharp keeper with an extremely safe pair of hands and lightning fast reflexes.
Anmol is a product of Punjab having played for the state all the way through the junior age group levels. After showing signs of real talent and performing at u23 level, Anmol was given his opportunity to represent Punjab in 2019. He impressed straight away, scoring a half century on debut against Rajasthan. He didn't stop there. Determined to prove himself and show the Punjab selectors his talent and potential, Anmol kept piling on the runs that year scoring 468 runs in eleven innings' with an average of 52 which included one century and three half centuries, making him Punjab's second highest run scorer that season.
Anmol has continued to be a consistent and reliable run scorer for Punjab since his debut season and has provided plenty of stability in the batting lineup.
