Dill is a talented cricketer with huge potential to take his game to the professional level.
Typically seen batting at the top of the order, Dill is a very level-headed batsman that is able to get himself set early on and kick on as his innings progresses. He is comfortable facing both pace and spin and has enough shots in his arsenal and the confidence to be able to take the attack to any type of bowler he faces. Whilst being a valuable asset with the bat, he can also been seen as an option with the ball with his off-spinners. He is also an excellent fielder with the safe pair of hands and a fielder that doesn't mind throwing himself around on the field.
Dill has recently completed his education at Canford School, one of the UK's top cricketing schools. During his time at Canford he captained the 1st XI which led to the school maintaining its winning reputation owing to Dill's performances with the bat but also his knowledge and awareness of the game from a captaincy stand point.
Dill broke into the Canford 1st XI is 2022 and to date has scored over 1200 runs with an average of 30 which has included four half-centuries and one century.
Whilst school commitments took priority, where he could, he played for Middleton CC in the Sussex Premier League. Making his 1st XI debut in 2021 at just fifteen years old. At 17 years old he recorded his maiden premier league half-century for Middleton CC.
Now that he has completed his education, he can focus more on club cricket. The talented and hard working batsman is now eager to showcase his talent and gain new experiences by playing in Australia for the 2024/25 season.
