Ghulam “The Karachi Express” Mudassar is an exciting and deadly bowler. He is a highly coveted fast bowler with an exceptional skillset. At 85+ mph, his impressive speed coupled with his control and skill makes him a formidable opponent for even the most seasoned batsmen.
Ghulam's talent was evident from a young age, making his First Class debut at a mere 16 years old. He made an instant impact, taking an impressive 56 wickets in his first two seasons. His performances earned him a place in the Pakistan Emerging Squad and subsequently the Pakistan A squad. In 2016, he was selected to represent Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League, and the following year he was bought by Quetta Gladiators, where he currently plays.
Throughout his career, Ghulam has consistently delivered results, establishing himself as a dependable opening bowler for the Karachi Whites and is consistently on the Pakistan selectors radar.
In 2024, Ghulam signed for Bedworth CC in what would be his maiden UK season. He established himself as a formiddable bowler from the start taking four wickets in his first match. Despite his season being cut short due to his call up to the Pakistan Shaheens, Ghulam still managed to claim 31 wickets at an average of 18.84.
