Jawid is a hard hitting, elegant batsman. In his short career, thus far, he has shown that he has what it takes to compete at the highest level, having already recorded three half-centuries. Confident at the crease, he doesn't shy away from any type of bowling and isn't afraid to take the attack to the bowlers when needed.
He is an excellent player of both seam and spin making him a valuable asset at the top of the order.
Jawid made his First Class debut for Boost Region in 2022 where he impressed immediately, showing his skill to score a well played 70. This achievement would help him to secure a place in the team for the following season.
Despite Jawid still being in the early stages of his career, at just 19 years old he has shown that he has heaps of talent and potential to be a top domestic batsman.
