Mitesh is talented cricketer and because of this, a key part of the Baroda team. While at the crease he is a level-headed batsman that bats with confidence and composure. He is comfortable batting anywhere in the top 6 given his ability to adapt to well to different situations and utilise his wide array of shots. He is an excellent player of both seam and spin due to his well-refined technique coupled with the confidence to take bowlers on when the situation requires. His reliability with the bat to score runs makes him the type of batsman you would want in your team. He provides a fantastic option behind the stumps with his excellent agility, extremely safe pair of hands and lightning fast reflexes.
Mitesh is a product of Baroda, having played for the state age group teams from u14 to u23. He made his First Class debut for Baroda in 2017 where he immediately impressed scoring a half-century on debut.
Mitesh proves to get better with age as his best First Class season came during the 2023/24 Ranji Trophy where in his 6 matches he scored 285 runs with an average of 35.62.
He got his 2024/25 Ranji Trophy campaign off to a great start scoring 86 against a powehouse Mumbai team.
Mitesh is now seeking his maiden season season in the UK. He would be a great asset to any club's batting lineup given his exceptional batting abilities that will guarantee an immense flow of runs.
