About

Priviledge Chesa

Priviledge is a talented spin bowler with the potential to one day become one of the top bowlers in the Zimbabwe domestic cricket scene. He bowls with good consistency and skill. He varies his pace well to deceive opposition batters whilst having the ability to produce big turning deliveries. Being a leg spinner, he is a constant threat to opposition batters and with the skills he has it is not a surprise that he raced to 50 First Class wickets in just 16 matches.

Provincial and national selectors have had their eyes on Priviledge from an early age as he showed great competency as a leg spinner and thus was selected to represent Zimbabwe U19 ahead of the South Africa Quadrangular Series. After producing good performances during the tournament he was selected to represent the Zimbabwe U19 World Cup squad ahead 2020 U19 World Cup. Despite only playing one match during the tournament, against Scotland, he picked up 5 wickets.

Priviledge made his First Class debut in 2022 for the Southern Rocks. During the 22/23 season, Priviledge excelled as he was the Southern Rocks leading wicket-taker and the third highest overall wicket-taker in the Logan Cup. These performances proved that he is a talented player with immense potential. His efforts didn't go unnoticed as he was selected as part of the Zimbabwe XI squad. During this time he played against a strong West Indies side. He also played Durham CCC where he picked up 4 wickets. His victims included Alex Lees, Michael Jones, Ollie Robinson, and Brydon Carse.

Priviledge is now looking to showcase his talent in the UK. He would make for a great pick up for any club looking for a talented spin bowler and given his First Class record he is sure to be a valuable asset and a sought after wicket-taker.
