About

Ravi Chauhan

** Available for 3 months **

Ravi is a well experienced and high quality cricketer due to his ability to assess match situations and adapt accordingly. He provides a stable base at the top of the order in all three formats which shows the talent he possesses and why he has been one of Services' best batsman over the past few years. He enjoys pace on the ball but also plays spin well by being able to manipulate the ball into gaps to keep the scoreboard ticking. While not getting much of an opportunity to bowl he has taken a few First Class wickets with his leg spinners.

Growing up, Ravi represented Delhi U13, U15, and U16. After finishing school he attended Delhi University where he represented the university First XI from 2011-2014. He made his First Class debut for Services in 2015, his T20 debut in 2017, and his List A debut in 2018. He was the leading run scorer for Services in the 2017/18 Ranji Trophy (First Class), with 457 runs in six matches with an average of 41.54. During the 2019/20 Vijay Hazare Trophy (List A), he was the 9th highest run scorer with 475 runs in 9 matches with an average of 52.77. He is also part of a short list of batsmen that have scored four consecutive 50+ scores in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (T20) which he achieved in 2019.

Ravi is a very experienced and talented player who's record speaks volumes having played just under a hundred professional matches across all three formats in which he has scored 7 centuries and 22 fifties.

It is readily apparent that Ravi is a talented player by what he has achieved throughout his career which will no doubt keep improving. He is now looking to try his hand at English cricket and with the skills he boasts with both bat and ball he would be a superb signing for any clubs looking for a top order batsman that can contribute as a spin option as well.
