About

Sahibzada Farhan

Sahibzada is a formidable run scorer known for his confidence and aggression at the crease. His powerful and clean-hitting ability enables him to clear boundaries of any size, making him an extremely destructive batsman at the crease. Although he has had limited opportunities in the bowling department, he is a skilled off-spinner capable of taking breakthrough wickets when needed.

He made his professional debut in a T20 match in 2013 for Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited, followed by his First Class debut for Peshawar in 2016, where he scored an impressive 86 runs in the first innings. In 2018, Sahibzada was selected to represent Pakistan in a T20 match against Australia, which led to two further T20I appearances for the national team.

Sahibzada's career reached new heights in 2021 when he was named the PCB's Domestic Cricketer of the Year. During this period, he was the second-highest run-scorer in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy (First Class), fifth-highest run-scorer in the Pakistan Cup (List A), and the highest run-scorer in the National T20 Cup. The following year he was once again the highest run scorer in the National T20 Cup. He consistently averaged over 50 in List A cricket from 2017 to 2021.

Currently, he leads the run-scoring charts in the ongoing Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, and recently achieved his highest score of 245.

Owing to his consistent performances and being one of the highest run scorers in one or more formats over the past few years have earned him spots in various notable teams such as Pakistan Emerging (2018), Pakistan A (2019), and the Shaheens (2023). Additionally, he is a highly sought-after player in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

He is now seeking his maiden UK stint and will be one of the most sought after overseas pro’s for the 2024 season given his destructive batting ability. Any club would benefit immensely by attaining his signature for the 2024 season.
