About

Sidhant Singh

Sidhant is a highly talented all-rounder with heaps of potential to become a formidable cricketer. He possesses a great amount of confidence with the bat at the top of the order. He is comfortable facing any type of bowling and is equipped with the necessary skills to be able to score runs all around the ground which often leads to him putting out big and consistent scores for his team. Sidhant's talent extends beyond his batting prowess; he is also a proficient seam bowler and a vital component of his team's bowling attack. His pace, consistency, and ability to swing the ball make him a valuable asset.

Throughout his junior career he represented the New South Wales representative teams and was part of the the NSW Wales Academy from u13 to u17. Having been selected in the King's School 1st XI in Year 8 as well as the U14 Harold Moore Shield Rep Team, he was noticed when he scored 492 runs at 54.67 (2nd Highest in the competition) and took 22 wickets at 8.5 (leading wicket taker). This gained him selection in the Gordon Green Shield Team at age 14, and although he struggled initially, he proceeded to score 400 runs @57.14 in his final year, becoming the 3rd Highest run scorer in the competition and gaining selection in the A.W Green Shield Merit XI. This further propelled his ambitions as it allowed him to gain selection in the NSW U17 Metro Squad for the offseason. Furthermore, within the upcoming season, he had also been selected in the NSWCIS Open Boys Team 2 years in a row, in which he was named Player of the Tournament in the NSW Open Schoolboys Carnival gaining selection in the NSW Schoolboys team 2 years in a row to play the Australian Cricket Exchange against QLD. After performances at school, gaining the MVP award as well as the Champion Player of the AAGPS Competition, he was selected in the NSW U17 Metro Side to compete at the U17 Nationals Tournament. In addition to this, he is currently playing Poidevin Gray Shield (u21) for Gordon Cricket Club as well as 2nd Grade.
