Tinashe is a competent top/middle order batsman and a handy option behind the stumps. He is a well-organised batsman that thrives particularly against spin bowling as he is a strong sweeper of the ball and isn't afraid to take the attack to the spinners and play his shots.
As a junior, Tinashe showed huge promise as he was part of both the U13 and U15 Zimbabwe squads. He attended two prestious high schools namely Falcon College (Zimbabwe) and Durban High School (South Africa). During his school years in South Africa he represented KwaZulu-Natal u15's and was invited to take part in a South Africa U17 Camp after producing a score of 202* during a school match. He later went on to represent Zimbabwe at the U19 World Cup in 2018.
Tinashe made his First Class Debut at the age of 20 for Mashonaland Eagles. In recent years while playing First Class cricket in Zimbabwe, he has played alongside English County players such as Nick Welch, Will Fraine and Matt Parkinson.
He comes recommended by Zimbabwe legend, Stuart Matsikenyeri, a former Zimbabwe international cricketer.
A promising young cricketer with a lot more to show and a top bloke off the field, he is now looking to play club cricket in the UK in 2024.
