Warwickshire based club, Bedworth CC, bolster their bowling attack by signing Pakistani paceman, Ghulam Mudassar, for the upcoming 2024 season.
The 24 year old is an exciting and deadly bowler left arm quick. He is a highly coveted fast bowler with an exceptional skill set. His abilities on the pitch are awe-inspiring, with the aptitude to swing and manipulate the ball in both directions. At 85+ mph, his impressive speed coupled with his control and skill makes him a formidable opponent for even the most seasoned batsmen.
Ghulam's talent was evident from a young age, making his First Class debut at a mere 16 years old. He made an instant impact, taking an impressive 56 wickets in his first two seasons. His performances earned him a place in the Pakistan Emerging Squad and subsequently the Pakistan A squad. In 2016, he was selected to represent Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League, and the following year he was bought by Quetta Gladiators, where he currently plays.
Throughout his career, Ghulam has consistently delivered results, establishing himself as a dependable opening bowler for the Karachi Whites. As he seeks to expand his horizons, Ghulam is eager to make his debut season in the UK a success and play a key role in helping Bedworth CC push for silverware and promotion.
